Summer Course

This course is designed for young students aged 13 to 17 and takes place during the school holidays (June, July and August), although the starting dates are flexible. It combines formal language teaching with a variety of leisure activities, visits and excursions, completing the immersion in Spanish language and culture.

The students’ days are filled with activities. The day begins with Spanish classes from 9:30 to 13:00, and continues after lunch with leisure activities such as sports, visits to Málaga, Marbella or Nerja, or other supervised evening activities.>

The programme includes:

15 hours (x 60 minutes) of small-group classes per week. Course materials included.

Placement test on arrival and Certificate of Attendance at the end of the course.

Host family accommodation, twin rooms and full board (hot buffet lunch at midday).

4 afternoons of sports activities: volleyball, basketball, swimming, badminton, table tennis, and daily dance classes: Sevillanas, Salsa and other Latin dances.

One local visit to Málaga, Marbella, Mijas or Nerja.

One full-day excursion to Ronda, Granada, Córdoba or Seville.

Evening entertainment: sports, social games, Wii, films at the school, Tivoli World amusement park and one disco party per week.

Supervision by our team of teachers and leisure activity leaders.

* Any other additional services may be arranged directly with us.

Optional extra: Sailing (July and August).

Students enrolled in this course will have 3 hours of sailing lessons in the afternoons twice a week. The sailing lessons are conducted by professional instructors in the safe environment of PUERTO MARINA.

All equipment is provided by the sailing school, including wetsuits and life jackets. Students wear life jackets at all times when in the water. If it is too windy, alternative water sports activities will be organised or the sessions will be rescheduled for another day. No previous sailing skills are required.

This course is not recommended for experienced sailors.

In July, the sailing lessons take place on Tuesdays and Fridays from 16:00 to 19:00.
