Summer Courses

Ireland Experience offers as well a Summer of authentic linguistic immersion!

We anticipate this programme to take place during the first three weeks of July. Departing from Malaga’s airport, our summer courses are a great opportunity to improve your children’s level of English by allowing them to interact with native speakers for three weeks as well as through organised activities and classes as so that their trip is a success.

We offer two types of programmes for children:

  • Summer course with English classes, organised activities and Saturday day-trips.
  • Summer course with a family with no classes nor activities included (aimed towards students between the ages of 10-13 years old).

Available Courses:

This programme consists of accommodation in personally selected Irish families and includes 15 hours per week of classes and a complete week of fun activities.

Classes: This programme offers three hours of class per day (Monday-Friday), adapting to the specific level of English of the student and in small class. All teachers are qualified. The students work in groups, including projects based on a weekly theme. The teachers guide them and teach them grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary based on the selected themes. Every Friday, the groups present their project.

Activities: These activities and trips are designed to introduce the students to Irish culture and allow them to interact in English with the monitors and other international students. Our list of activities include going to Blarney Castle, exploring the ancient quarters of Cork, the Titanic Experience in Cobh, an evening of shopping and bowling. The Saturday day-trips typically are a trip to Dublin and Kinsale.

This programme is aimed towards children that have a good level of English and wish to live the experience of an exclusive stay in an Irish family. This is primarily for students from the age of 10-13 years old. We seek families that have children of a similar age to the exchange students. The families are chosen personally by me, ensuring hospitality, comfort and integration of the student as another member of the family. Barbecues, trips to the beach, walks around Cork are only a handful of the preferred activities that the host families like to do with the students.

If the students wish, they are more than welcome to sign up to different summer camps that take place everyday from 10am until 14pm. These are camps which other Irish children choose to go during the summer to take part in activities such as tennis, football, cooking, dance and sailing for example.

*Any other complimentary services can be commissioned.
